Why Hey Bye?
Here at Hey Bye, we believe in the harmony that can be found in the balance of opposing forces. The name Hey Bye was inspired by the Mandarin words "hei bai," which translate to black and white, symbolizing the interconnectedness of opposites. We celebrate the natural ebb and flow of life, embracing new experiences while letting go of the past.
Our name is also a nod to Hei Bai, the black and white forest spirit from Avatar: The Last Airbender, who protects an Earth Kingdom forest after it is destroyed by the Fire Nation. Like Hei Bai, we strive to protect our environment and community by being conscious of our impact. We use responsibly sourced, plant-based ingredients to create our handmade soaps, and for every order placed, we donate a bar of soap to someone in need.
