Orders & Shipping

Can I update my order once I've placed it? If you'd like to make any changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible. After your order has been shipped, we are unable to make any adjustments. 

How long will it take for my order to arrive? We process our orders within 1 business day and ship all our packages through USPS First Class or Priority Mail. After placing your order, your package should arrive within a week. Shipping times may be extended due to delays with the USPS, which unfortunately, we have no control over.

Can I upgrade my shipping? Yes! You can choose your preferred shipping method at checkout. 

Returns

Do you offer returns? Due to the nature of our products, we not accept returns at this time. If you have any concerns about your product, please do not hesitate to reach out!

Products and Ingredients

Where are your products made? All our products are made by hand in Southern California!

Can I use soap on my face? Our soaps are made to be used for the body and hands, but they are safe to use on your face, just avoid getting it in your eyes.

I have sensitive skin, can I use your products? If you have sensitive skin, we recommend first patch testing the product on a small area of your body. Discontinue use if any irritation occurs and consult with a physician. 

I have a tree-nut allergy, can I use your products? We do not use ingredients derived from peanuts or almonds, but many of our products are made with oils and butters derived from coconut, Shea, or cocoa. If you have any allergies, please read the ingredients listed on each product page carefully.

Sustainability

Are your products zero-waste? Our soaps come in individual paper soap boxes that can be recycled. If you'd prefer your order to come without any packaging, please contact us after placing your order and we'd be happy to do so!

Is your packaging compostable? Our soap boxes are recyclable, but not certified compostable.

Is your shipping material compostable? We ship our products with corn starch-based packing peanuts which are easily dissolvable in water, or recycled brown paper that is compostable. Our cardboard boxes are recyclable, just remove the shipping label first.

Do you carbon offset your shipping emissions? If you purchase from our Etsy store, Etsy will carbon offset the shipping emissions from your order. We are currently looking for ways to carbon offset the shipping emissions from purchases on our website. 

Are your products palm-free? Currently only our salt bars are palm-free. Our bar soaps are made with Palm Done Right palm oil. Palm Done Right holds their manufacturers to stricter standard than RSPO. To learn more about why we use palm oil, check out this blog post. 

Giving

Where do you donate your soap? We split our soap donations between a homeless shelter in Los Angeles, CA and a local senior center in Chino, CA. We're always looking for ways to give back! If you know of an organization in need of bar soap donations, please let us know!
